MONEY IN SPORT – CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT

Money in Sport (MIS) is an annual conference which commenced in Melbourne and has since been held on the Gold Coast. MIS targets sporting administrators across sporting bodies, clubs, broadcasters, government, ticketing agencies and venues.

The event is a 2 day conference attended by over 300 delegates with more than 40 keynote speakers, panellists and moderators and Exhibitors. The conference is fully catered (morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and two night time functions) and included keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops and networking functions.

Nature of the Tasks Undertaken

 

Max Events is contracted to provide end to end event management for MIS, including:

• Event documentation – Manage project plans, run sheets, cue sheets and scripting

• Event setup – Manage the build of the stage backdrop, reception area, media walls, exhibition. Coordinate the bump in / out of all suppliers and exhibitors

• Event delivery – Show calling, stage management and floor management

• Delegate Management – Registration and customer service for delegates

• Exhibitor Management – Creation of Exhibitor Guide and all exhibitor forms necessary for bump in / out, additional setup requirements, production of signage for their booths

• Branding – Manage production of delegate badges, wristbands, banners and signage

• Venue Liaison – Menu, floor plans, logistics

• Video / Graphics Production – Producing video packages and creating graphics for screens

• Technical Management – Sourcing and briefing technical supplier

• Financial Management – Delivering the event within the allocated budget and providing a post event reconciliation

• Commercial Properties – Ensuring key sponsors are acknowledged and event branding is as per their contracts
